L'Étang-du-Nord -On Cap-aux-Meules island

Rental: Fat-Bike
The Fat-Bike is the ONLY bike which is able to ride on the beautiful beaches of the Magdalen Islands. By renting a fat bike from this location, you will be close to 2 beaches; Martinique beach and Corfu beach.
La Martinique: This beach is 13 km long, and goes to the island of Havre-Aubert. With fine sand and crystal clear water, this beach is ideal for swimming or have a picnic under the sun. At the end of the beach, you can continue on the main road to the historic site of La Grave, where you will find several shops and restaurants.
Le Corfu: This beach is 8.7 km long and is accessible from Chemin Coulombe, right next to the microbrewery À l’abri de la tempête, where you can stop for an excellent local beer. In addition, on this beach, you will see the Corfu shipwreck that ran aground in 1963.
If took a full day rental, you could also go to the beach of Dune-du-Nord, near Fatima, starting at Anse-aux-Baleiniers. At this location, you will find a small museum, the bar La Shed, and a dairy and a snack bar.
Location: Vélo Hybride
Le vélo hybride ne peut pas rouler sur les plages, mais il peut sillonner toutes les routes et chemins de terre sans problème. Vous pourrez facilement faire le tour de l’Île du Cap-aux-Meules et découvrir nos magnifiques paysages.
